Onam, the joy and enthusiasm festival of Kerela is a grand celebration that reflects the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the state. In membranes of King Mahabali, the Onam Celebration is extravagantly celebrated in KSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore on 13.09.2024. One of our student was disguised as the King Mahabali. Students also wore traditional dresses and “Athapookalam” is decorated by all students of departments with various flowers to show their joyous and vibrant occasion. The “Athapookalam” competition is conducted and judged by faculty Dr.K.Jagatheeswari and Dr.P. Jayachnandral on the occasion and winners were encouraged with prizes. The impression of unity and merriment filled the minds of KSGians by dancing with the rhythms of onam. The festive graced with the presence of our correspondent Smt.K.S.Gita, Principal Dr. M.Nagarajan, Vice Principal Dr. M. Baskaran, Heads of various department, faculty members and students.
